Hey so,
1. You should fix your punkbuster problems:
- update to the latest pb (can be found league site)
- run bf1942 in winxpsp3 + as admin
- turn off any kind of firewall / AV, anything like that.
(Windows firewall, Windows defender, nod32, avira, norton, zonealarm, eset smart security, norton security, avast etc)
2. We have revamped the map downloads: https://www.bf-league.eu/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=536&Itemid=307 should be more clear and easy.
