About Your new server

Regarding the forum privacy topic, you should restrict the full forum regarding registered members also. If someone registers (troll or fake account or anyone) can still see many things. I am not supposed to see these topics either.

Anyway back to the topic:

I was talking to Angelim and ABAS about arubacloud.com servers. You should create your own account for this type of system, cause the way it works is that you are gathering money into a "cart" in which you can spend the money on servers or other services. Many payment methods are supported. Paypal, maestro, mastercard, visa, visa electron, bank transfer etc. I can help you install the server, not a problem. You should choose ubuntu 32-bit. (debian didn't work for us). There is a possibility to make the server default like its default config if something goes wrong, can change operating system without additional cost. But if you want to create a new server on a different ip that costs 1 euro if you choose the 1 euro server pack.

Hi Fear, are you able to see our internal strategies from the Clan Area?

We will check this Arubacloud thing. Seems like a good idea to use it.

Will check out that permission things later.

I have bought a test server for you in germany, cause thats what abas and angelim have told me.

Willing to put 1 euro into it, but after 1 month i will delete this, because war doesn't want anyone to use his account, i mean someone who isnt a TL. It should be enough time for you. We have enough money in the cart so and ive recently paid as well.

thank you fearofdark ,did you set up the server ?

will install it once the instance has been initialized. one guy from other community also asked my help to show him the installation of bf1942 on linux, so gonna create a video.

your german test server is up. So this is from arubacloud, and its our account. I will turn it off in november around 13th. and by then you will know if this is a good server for you or not.

You have 4 servers totally - 1 is our fra vps ip (our account), this is turned off for now.

There is abas windows server one, there is the tuia fra one,

and there is this new german one. (our account)

This german one is for testing, since i found it okay for you guys to test this 1 euro german aruba server. I will keep it until 13th november. If it is okay for you, you can open an account and pay 1 euro, and i will install that server for you.

It is also possible to use italian, czech, uk servers since aruba has DCs in these countries, but thats something you will need to decide yourselves. If it was a 3-4 euro thing i wouldn't do such test, but for 1 euro i dont mind.

Once you know it (in 1 month) please give me a confirmation which server you want to use.
Cause i will turn the rest off then. (Except tuia's one ofc)

If i'm not wrong, our Aristocrats have some problems with "SoH Test Server GER".

But i'm not 100% sure.

ABAS Server should have SSD Caching... the MapChange takes very long.

ABAS can you send me the link from the hoster?

And to the other clan Members > Test both servers as soon as possible.

Perhaps we could arrange some practice at the weekend evening/night?

Just at the beginning of the test there is some packetloss and one short jump to 500ms Maxping





But 1 minute later it looks good.

Dl Malwarebytes,  OTL, Spybot - Search and Destroy and scan your PC, search for new Firmware for your Router and reset it.

It can also be that the routing changes between some minutes. In this case just click reset and restart Button in Pingplotter. (Because non used Hops will produce errors on that measure, bec. they are not any more responding).
